German Bridge Award 2010 for the Elbe Bridge Mühlberg
The Elbe Bridge Mühlberg between Brandenburg and Saxony is the winner of the German Bridge Award (Deutscher Brückenbaupreis) 2010 in the category “road and railway bridges” awarded on 15 March 2010 in Dresden. As responsible engineer behind this success Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Eilzer was honored. The so-called “Eye of Mühlberg” is a “successful combination of innovative design and understated elegance.
